Carey Randall
Director of Sales & Marketing 

Carey Randall is a sales and marketing professional with over 20 years' experience in retail, marketing, and public relations. She is an active member of several professional organizations including ABA, SYTA, and NTA.

Before joining John Hancock Observatory, Carey was the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Skydeck at Sears Tower. She has also worked as a general manager for The Body Shop, a skin and hair care retailer that operates worldwide.

Zach Morrison
Director of Operations 

At the helm of John Hancock Observatory's operations, Zach oversees all aspects of the daily operating business, from staff management and retail to the overall experience every guest gets during their visit.  Zach's team of 40 Observatory and cafe staff report in to his five managers.

Zach joined the Observatory team originally as an Operations Manager from Edelman Public Relations' Tourism & Lifestyles team.  He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and HR Management from Loyola University Chicago, where he currently reamins active and sits on two alumni boards.

Phil Huckelberry
Operations Analyst 

Phil oversees a combination of finance and IT for the Observatory, including managing the ticketing system, accounts receivable, and internal auditing.  

Prior to joining John Hancock Observatory, Phil's varied professional background included stints in project management, political organizing, and computer training.  He holds a BA in History and Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MA in History from The Ohio State University.

Stephanie Grady
Sales & Events Coordinator 

Stephanie is responsible for education, group and event sales.

Prior to joining the team, Stephanie has experience working with public schools, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to complement her responsibilities.  Stephanie has her B.A. in theatre arts from Illinois Wesleyan University along with her TEFL certificate from the Language House in Nice, France.

Dan Heun
Marketing Associate 

Dan is responsible for marketing our brand as the premier tourism destination Chicago has to offer as well as managing all facets of JHOchicago.com. 

Prior to joining the team, Dan has various experiences including marketing within the construction industry and information technology.  He has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and brings along a background in graphic design, website management and developing and marketing brand image.

Seemore Miles
Mascot 

Seemore Miles officially joined the team in November of 2011.  Seemore comes from Olympus Group in Milwaukee, WI and has been a welcomed addition to the team since!  Being new to Chicago, Seemore hit the town and all it has to see -- while we filmed the whole adventure to share with everyone.  Watch that here!  Seemore originally joined the team as a nameless mascot.  So, what better way to come up with a name than to let our friends and fans come up with the name for us?  Hosted on Facebook, we launched a social media campaign for everyone to take part in -- Name our Mascot!  After hundreds of great submissions, when it was all said and done, Seemore Miles took the gold!  

Seemore has made his rounds about Chicago, and has appeared on televsion such as WGN morning news and Fox News Chicago! We're all excited to have him on the team, and look forward to having him for years to come!
